Ruudu Ulas
Ruudu Ulas (°1987, EE) lives and works between London and Berlin.
Her practice includes photography, object-making and performative actions. Ulas’ work focuses on the dynamics between the individual and the environment, highlighting the tensions and glitches that emerge from the interjection of public and personal spaces. Working within the expanded field of photography, Ulas’ investigations often take the shape of large-scale installations.
Ulas completed her MA in Studio Photography from the Royal College of Art in 2021. She holds a First Class BA in Fine Art Photography from Glasgow School of Art. She also studied under Joachim Brohm at HGB Leipzig in 2016/2017.
