“to sense an exhibition, not as a situation limited to an enclosed space (place), but related to its larger surroundings. A situation of broadcast, reception, messages. In relation to formats-informations… (format as support, interface).
If the information is relayed from one format to another, how does it change from one format to another? Can we sense an artist - his name - as a format, a sign, a logo? Could he be an interface? To what extent can an artist be considered as a value? When does he become a signature? Same questions for an art space…
If one considers that a work is made through the people that deal with it… If I produce a work (through a personal impulse), it wouldn't be just mine but the result (through multiple dimensions) of a collective process…
