From 5 to 7 November 2026, Rawabet Festival takes over Brussels for three days of live performance, music, multimedia, and conversation. Across the city, discover new works developed through the Rawabet production grant programme, bringing together artists and ideas from across Europe.
On Saturday November 7, WIELS hosts two Rawabet Festival events:
13:00–15:00 | Public Panel Discussion 3: Solidarity as Practice – Art, Resistance, and the Future of Transnational Cultural Collaboration
16:00–17:30 | Long Table: Come to the table! – Festivals as Spaces for New Ideas
Both the panel discussion and the Long Table will be held in English. To learn more about the themes, speakers, and the full line-up of Rawabet Festival performances and events, visit Ettijahat’s website.
Rawabet Festival (5, 6 & 7 November) is organised by Ettijahat – Independent Culture, a non-profit association (ASBL) based in Brussels and Beirut. The festival marks the culmination of a three-year programme (2024–2026) implemented through a partnership of cultural organisations across Europe.
Rawabet—Arabic for "links"—is co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme. The initiative supports artists who have relocated to Europe since 2015 and work across the performing arts, music, and multidisciplinary practices.
Through production grants, residencies, and circulation platforms, Rawabet fosters artistic development, transnational collaboration, and greater cultural visibility.
