Salamé brings a close knowledge of Cherri’s practice: his work has featured in several group exhibitions at Villa Empain, most recently in Fire (2025), which she curated.

Louma Salamé (b. 1981, Beirut, Lebanon) is General Director of the Boghossian Foundation – Villa Empain in Brussels, where she has curated and conceived exhibitions including Water (2023), Timeless Gazes: From Pharaohs to the Present Day, in collaboration with the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art (2025), and Fire (2025–26).
Her career includes positions as Research Officer at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and MUDAM Luxembourg, Communications Manager at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Director of Communications and Audiences at Mathaf in Doha, and at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. She was Visiting Chair at Sciences Po Paris, where she taught museum management (2023–24).
