Poet & performer, Selim-a Atallah Chettaoui grew up in Tunisia. Accustomed to the 'in-between', their practice blends languages and media to explore the links between joy and violence, identity and socio-political news. They are a member of the eco-poetry collective fœhn and the Brussels-based feminist and decolonial artistic platform Xeno-.
Selim-a Atallah Chettaoui has performed their texts in cellars, bars, streets, schools, prisons, parks, theatres, museums, and concert halls across France, Tunisia, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, India, Sri Lanka, and the United States. The fusion of poetry and electronic music has become their trademark, and their first EP, Mooja, was released in 2026.
