Lina Mounzer is a Lebanese writer and translator. Her work has appeared in Equator, The Paris Review, Freeman’s, and The Baffler, as well as in the anthologies Tales of Two Planets (Penguin 2020), Best American Essays 2022 (Harper Collins 2022), and Gaza: The Story of a Genocide (Verso Books 2025). She is Editor-in-Chief of the literary arts and culture magazine The Markaz Review. Her short memoir of Beirut and its recent disasters, Janus City, is forthcoming from OR Books in October 2026.
