In the context of Call me gravity, philosopher Dominiek Hoens will explore the intricate relation between guilt and debt, taking our cue from the fact that in some languages one single word can be used to denote both phenomena, e.g. the Dutch ‘schuld.’

To fuel this exploration, a variety of theoretical sources will be used, among them — inspired by the exhibition's title — Simone Weil's Gravity and Grace.
