At the intersection between Avenue Van Volxem and Avenue Pont de Luttrebrug are the buildings of the former Wielemans brewery, pearls of Brussels' industrial heritage. The “Wielemans Tower” was designed in 1930 by architect Adrien Blomme. An ambitious restoration, carried out between 2005 and 2008, has restored the building to its former appearance.
