Armed with markers and notebooks, Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi scours the world. Everywhere he goes, he takes the temperature of the place, reads the local newspapers and follows the information posted on the Internet. The witty testimonies he leaves on the walls of museums and art centers reflect his keen vision of political, social and artistic events. His committed work has been presented in personal exhibitions at the Venice Biennale and at the moma in New York. At the invitation of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Perjovschi is coming to Belgium for the first time. His sassy drawings cover the walls of the Wiels Contemporary Art Center and fill the public space in the form of posters in the street and interventions in Le Soir and De Morgen. At the Festival Center, a new drawing is projected every day on the big screen. Get ready: Dan Perjovschi is with us!
