Like every year, WIELS welcomes a new round of Belgian and international artists in residence for a period of 3 to 6 months. The opportunity for each of them to participate in a programme oriented on practice, critical reflection, dialogue with peers and contacts with audiences.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that Michael Van den Abeele is joining the team of mentors as of this year, following the departure of Willem Oorebeek, mentor and co-founder of the WIELS residency programme, at the end of 2020. The latter has now joined the WIELS General Assembly
