Guillaume Désanges is curator en kunstcriticus - hij werkt voor magazines als Exit Express, Exit Book in Madrid en Trouble Magazine - maar hij is ook de medestichter van Work Method, een platform voor artistieke projecten in Parijs, en hij is performance-kunstenaar. Désanges werkte samen met de Zwitserse kunstenaar Thomas Hirschorn voor het 24Hour Foucault Project. Hij ontwikkelde eveneens verschillende performatieve projecten zoals A history of performance in 20 minutesdat getoond werd in de belangrijkste hedendaagse kunstmusea, zoals Centre Pompidou in Parijs en De Appel in Amsterdam.
