Ugo Woatzi
Ugo Woatzi (he/they) is a visual artist based in Brussels who explores the intersections of queer narratives, spatial utopias, and mystical nature. Their work combines diverse mediums and elements to create dreamlike environments. Drawing on memories and fiction, Woatzi’s practice offers poetic reflections and imagines new possibilities for belonging and transformation—both for our bodies and the worlds we inhabit.
In 2024, Woatzi was a participant at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, The Netherlands, and he is currently a guest teacher at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
