Sara Manente
Sara Manente works as a choreographer, dancer and researcher in Brussels. Her projects are developed through performative publishing and get materialized in choreographic pieces, films, texts, events, workshops.

Sara Manente studied classical and contemporary dance. She holds a master degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Bologna and has attended both post master and Research Centre programmes at a.pass (Advanced Performance and Scenography Studies) in Brussels. Currently, she is focusing on aesthetics and ethics at the intersection of live arts and live cultures: fermentation technology, chimerisation and (self)immunity.
"In my work there is often the concern of expanding the moment before naming or categorising. A kind of suspension in a state of affects, paradoxes and possibilities. In this suspension something happens to the body."
