Andreas Olavssønn Rongen
Andreas Olavssønn Rongen (°1989) lives and works in Oslo. His work deals with situations of presence and exclusion, often expanding on site-specific observations and patterns of movement. Filtered through fiction, misunderstandings and speculation these impressions form a thematic backdrop for sculptural investigation. As a result his work often appears as sculptural eco-systems or archives documenting interventions, routines, rhythms and repetitions.
As a part of his artistic practice he is also part of different collaborative projects and artist-duos exploring the intersections between sculpture, architecture and performative expressions.
He holds a BFA and MFA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
