If adolescents sometimes have trouble tearing themselves away from their smartphones, why not use this fascination as a learning experience? WIELS invites teenagers to take part in an exclusive tour of The Absent Museum (telephones allowed!). How can the way an image is framed influence the message it transmits? Which colour or background to use to translate which emotion? The visit – punctuated by moments of photography – invites them to examine the construction of images and their place in our contemporary world.
