Look Who's Talking: Emma Enderby (EN)
Emma Enderby is a curator, writer, and lecturer of modern and contemporary art. She is currently the Head of Programmes and Research/Chief Curator at Haus der Kunst Münich and the forthcoming Director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin. Previously, as Chief Curator at The Shed, New York, she worked on founding the new institution and the overall multidisciplinary programme. Her research topics include the intersection of art and ecology, technology, reconsidering historical (and canonical) narratives, interdisciplinary approaches, art in the public realm, and approaches to civic engagement. Enderby has held curatorial positions in various institutions like Public Art Fund, the Serpentine Galleries, London, Whitechapel Gallery, London and Museum of Modern Art, New York. She also works as a visiting lecturer, critic, and speaker at a number of universities and institutions, as well as an editor and writer for multiple publications and catalogues.
