Story Poétik originates from the participatory city festival Park Poétik. It is a bilingual, multi-voiced and inclusive brochure, handbook, graphic novel, toolkit... that puts the city festival into words and images. It contains inspiration and tips for professionals and fans, and it opens the door to a more inclusive society where art and imagination set the tone.

Story Poétik is the story of Park Poétik that includes tips and inspiration for professionals and fans. It contains a toolbox, a booklet within a booklet, with ready-to-use sheets and methodologies that you can immediately use in your organisation or project. It helps facilitate the transition to a sensitive city where art in public space provides imagination and connection. It thus opens a door to an inclusive society. Story Poétik is an invitation to help think about how to make festivals more inclusive, about how to (re)distribute power? Who takes on which role? What do you suggest?

Story Poétik is multilingual and the texts meet the B1/B2 reading level. The design takes into account persons who are highly sensitive. Besides a lot of factual information, it also contains quotes from people talking about their experience with Park Poétik. The graphic reporting or storytelling is by Judith Dufaux. She has been intensely involved in the participatory process for several years. Noémie Touly created the comic strips. She was introduced to Park Poétik as an intern and, thanks to her thesis, was behind the idea of a graphic novel. Myriam Dousse of the collective Cuistax took care of the design.
